Enventive Database

The Enventive Database is an optional add-on to the Enventive software.

Using the Enventive Database, companies can access critical parameter data, generated by running Enventive's Tolerance Analysis, from an external application and process it as desired. The database allows companies to access contributor/sensitivity information via standard database tools. For example, the database lets you integrate Enventive into your Tolerance Management System, another report writer, or other such application.

The database includes records for analyzed objects, contributors (parameters or constraints), sensitivities, and sub-contributors (for example, a line-to-line parallel constraint is a sub-contributor to a line-to-line dimension). You can query the database for information based on unique IDs, such as finding all contributor records that reference a given analyzed object; finding all sensitivity records that reference a given analyzed object and contributor; determining whether contributors are sub or master contributors; etc.

For example, based on critical measurements, companies can find all the contributors and their sensitivities, then analyze all the data to produce a single number representing the "quality" of the design.
