"We can conceptualize design concepts 10 times faster in Enventive than we can with our native CAD system. The Enventive constraint model lets us evaluate design changes as quickly as we can think of the changes... in fact, the software often leads the designer to these changes. Customer Testimonial

“For mechanisms and tolerance-in-motion, Enventive can’t be beat.” – Jeff Gabalski, BAE Industries

Because of the innate kinematic modeling capabilities in Enventive Concept, users can step a mechanism through its complete range of motion while recording results to the embedded Excel spreadsheet—all at the push of a button. During motion simulation, users can also run tolerance analysis (Tolerance-in-Motion™) to plot the variation across the range of motion and as part of optimization.

The kinematic modeling capabilities in Enventive software were used to study the variation in force as the striker is pulled from the clip.

  • You can see the force change as the striker is pulled from the clip.
  • Variation in Pull Force is plotted over the range of motion.
