After you have created a math group, you can rename it as needed using the Edit Groups selection from the Group drop-down list in the Math View.
To rename a group:

Click Edit Group from the Group selection list at the top of the Math Window.

In the dialog that displays, select the group to rename.

In the Name field, edit the name for the group as desired, and press Enter or click the Add button
to accept the change. -
Click Done to exit the Group editing dialog.
