Opening a model

When you start up Concept, a new model is opened automatically named Untitled_1. You can use this default file to start a new model that you save under your desired name.

To reopen a file that you opened recently, you can select from recently opened models listed at the bottom of the File menu. (You can control the number of recent files listed in the User Preferences dialog.)

To open a saved model:

  1. From the Concept File menu, choose Open.
  2. From the Open File dialog that displays, browse for and select the file to open. Concept models use an .enb extension, so your selection is limited to files with this extension.

You can also use Windows Explorer to open an existing .enb file. Clicking on the .enb file will automatically start Concept if it is not already running and will open the file.

The file you open can be an assembly that contains instances or an individual model. See also Opening an assembly file.
