Creating fillets

You can transform any corner point in existing geometry into a fillet.

To create a fillet:

1. Select the fillet tool from the Sketch view toolbar or the Draw menu.

2. Select the point at the corner you want to transform into a fillet.

3. The corner point is transformed into a fillet, as shown in the example below.

Note that:

• Transforming the corner point into a fillet results in a new arc with tangency constraints to the connected lines.

• The arc has a radius of 10 by default, but may be changed if desired.

• The constraints added to the sketch for the fillet do not affect your DOF.

• Any dimensions associated with the corner point, such as the linear dimension on the left in our example, continue to be measured to the corner point.
