Drawing a polycurve

Enventive Concept's Polycurve drawing tool lets you create an object that consists of a chain of curves (lines and arcs).

To create a polycurve object:

  1. Draw the lines/arcs that will make up the polycurve.
  2. Select the Polycurve tool from the Sketch view toolbar.
  3. For open polycurves, select the first and last line/arc in the desired chain of curves, which selects the entire chain of connected lines/arcs. Press Enter to create the polycurve.

    or

For closed polycurves, select each line/arc in the desired chain of curves, then press Enter to create the polycurve.

An example of an open polycurve is shown below.

The polycurve object appears in the sketch as a thicker blue line by default, as shown above, and is placed on the Regions layer. You can change the layer and color of the polycurve in the Properties Explorer, in the same manner as for other objects.
