Creating a math group

To create a new group in the Math view:

1. Click New Group from the Group selection list at the top of the Math Window.

   

2. In the dialog that displays, enter the group name and click OK.

   

3. The group appears in the Group selection list, and will be available in the Math Groups area of the Properties Explorer for all parameters in the current assembly.

   

You can also add a new group when editing groups.

1. Click Edit Group from the Group selection list at the top of the Math Window.

   

2. Enter a name in the Name field (without selecting an existing group).

   

3. Press Enter or click the Add button to create the new group.

   If you click the Add button with the Name field blank, a group with a default name ("Math Group#"; for example, in our illustration, "Math Group2") will automatically be added.
