Selecting objects
To select an object in the Sketch view:
-
Click the Select tool in the Drawing toolbar or select it from the Draw menu.
-
Move the cursor over the object you wish to select and click on the object.
-
You can select individual parts of geometry (for example, an endpoint on a line) by moving the Select cursor over the part you want to select. The item that will be selected is highlighted as you move the Select cursor over it.
-
You can use the Select tool to click and drag geometry that is not constrained, as well as click and drag constraint and dimension callouts. To move geometry that is constrained, see Cutting and pasting a sketch object.
-
Enventive Concept also makes it easy to select objects when they are close together, select multiple objects, and select objects by name.
