Parameter and constraint properties
Release Notes
This page reflects additions or changes that apply to Enventive Concept v5 and later. We strongly recommend upgrading to the most current version of Concept to take advantage of new features and bug fixes.
-
Concept v5 added settings for Stack Target Cpu/Cpl, which correspond to upper and lower failure mode severity levels. This new feature supports use of Enventive Concept with Enventive 360.
-
Concept v4.3 added upper/lower severity properties.
The Properties Explorer shows properties for currently selected parameter(s) and constraint(s). The following example shows the properties for a derived length dimension.
Use the Properties Explorer to view and change the following parameter or constraint properties:
- Name, Description, and Value
- Lock status
- Supplemental angles (Angle dimensions and Line at angle constraints only.)
- Tolerance settings (Excluding orientation constraints; that is, position, parallel and perpendicular constraints. Tolerance for these constraints can be set only by using feature control frames. Feature control frames are created when you combine orientation constraints with datums.)
- Display setting, including Layer and Color
- Math Groups the object belongs to
- Connected objects
- Material Condition Modifier (MMC) (Position constraints only)
In addition, the Properties Explorer includes Perturb and Step Value tools that you can use to change the parameter value. These tools are used for Tolerance In Motion and Tracing.
You can change shared property settings for a group of selected objects at one time. For example, you could select a set of geometry and dimensions and change the entire set's color or layer at one time. See Properties for multiple objects for more information.
